Register as an Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO)

    1. Go to Amway.com and click the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
    2. Select “Register” and then “Register as IBO.”
    3. Fill in the required information (Note: Your mobile phone number must be unique in the system).
      • If your mobile phone is an international number, change the country by selecting the U.S. Flag from the drop-down menu.
    4. Click “Sign Up.”
    5. You’ll receive an email to confirm your identity before proceeding further.
    6. Find the confirmation email and click “Confirm Email” (valid for 7 days). This lets you create your Amway ID.
    7. Fill in required fields like Email, Date of Birth, Tax Info and Address, then click “Continue.”
    8. Use your legal first and last name.
    9. Note: If you don’t want to submit your Social Security Number (SSN) online, you can submit a W-9 Form from irs.gov to IBO.taxforms@amway.com.
    10. If you have a Co-Owner, select “Add a Co-owner.” Fill out the required information and the Co-owner will receive a confirmation email. They need to confirm their email to create their Amway ID.
    11. If the Co-Owner doesn’t eSign the contract, the primary account remains active, but the Co-owner will be marked as “missing signature.”
    12. Note: Remember, the primary applicant on the account receives any tax documents related to the account.
    13. Carefully review and accept the Registration Agreement, including the Amway Income Disclosure, by checking the box.
    14. Verify your information and eSign the registration.
    15. Click “Submit,” and a confirmation will appear. Your new IBO number will be 10 digits.
    16. You can print the Registration Agreement now or view the agreement later by going to My Account > Contracts.
    17. If a Co-Owner was added, they will be marked as pending. They need to check their email and complete their eSignature. The Co-owner should also review and accept the Registration Agreement.
    18. You can add an unlimited number of Co-owners to your account.
    19. Remember to download and keep records of your business reports as they become available.
