The Amway Wellbeing+ app keeps you and your customers on track throughout the Begin 30 program with features like the daily log, daily tips and tricks and more tools to support their success.

  • Do I have to pay for a subscription for this app?

    • You do not need to pay a subscription for this app, however, you do need to be an Amway IBO or registered customer to get access.

    Do I have to have the app to complete the Begin 30 program?

    • While you do not have to use the app to complete the program, it is highly recommended in order to help ease the daily tracking of progress and to help keep you accountable to the program.

    How do I connect a fitness tracker?

    • You can connect your fitness tracker at the beginning of the pre-assessment or by clicking on the 'Smart Device linkage' within your Profile.

    I'm seeing a "Hold Tight" screen, what should I do?

    • You might have a poor connection. Try connecting to Wi-Fi, if available, and try again. If that doesn't work, force close your app and open again.
  • What is the purpose of the Pre and Post Assessment?

    • The purpose of the scientifically backed pre-assessment is to establish a baseline for five different areas of health when starting the program as well as establish personalized goals for some of the pillars of the program. The post-assessment will then measure those same five areas and show progress over the 30 days of the program.

    Should I connect to my health kit during the assessment?

    • Connecting to your health kit before the assessment will bring in health data from your health kit, making the pre-assessment more accurate as well as easier to complete.

    How often should I take the assessments?

    • You take the assessments at the beginning and the end of your program.

    Will my assessment results impact my daily recommendations?

    • Yes, how you answer the questions in your assessment will help determine your caloric intake, hydration goal, steps goal and exercise goal.

    How do I interpret my assessment results?

    • You will be shown a score for each of the five health areas as well as an overall score of 100 for your pre-assessment. You will then be shown how each of those five health area scores changed, as well as the overall score after completing your post assessmet.

    Can I retake an assessment if I feel my health status has changed?

    • Unfortunately, you will have to start the program over in order to redo the pre-assessment if you have already completed it. However, keep in mind, you will take another assessment after 30 days when the program is complete.

    How do I go back and see my pre-program health asssessment results?

    • You can see your results from your pre-assessment within Profile, under the Account section.
  • How do I get to my Profile?

    • Your Profile is located in the upper right corner of the app.

    How can I see my upline in this app?

    • Your upline information is located under your Account within Profile.

    How can I view or update my personal program details?

    • Your program information can be found under the Account section within Profile.

    Where can I find my assessment history and results?

    • You can see your results from your pre-assessment under the Account section within Profile.

    How do I connect a smart device to the app?

    • You cannot directly connect your smart device to the Wellbeing+ app, but you can connect your device to your Apple or Google Health kit, and then the app will pull in information from your health kit. You can connect or re-connect your health kit under Settings within the Profile.

    Can I change the app language after setup?

    • Yes, you can. Language selection is located under Settings within the Profile.

    What support options are available if I need help with the app?

    • Help & Support can be found under Service & Care within the Profile.
  • What type of content is included in Today’s Topic?

    • Today's topic features gut health education, education about each of the four pillars of the program, expert advice, workouts and more. The daily content is provided in various forms including podcasts, images, videos and pdfs.

    How is the daily topic chosen?

    • The daily topic is chosen based on where you are in your 30-day journey of the program.

    Can I save or revisit Today’s Topic content later?

    • All Today’s Topic content is stored within the Content Library, so you can revisit it later.
  • What types of resources are available in the Content Library?

    • Each of the 30 Today's Topics will be available in the Content Library as well as additional resources such as guides and recipes.

    Can I filter for content within the Content Library?

    • Yes, you can filter within the Content Library by clicking on the icon with lines and dots in the top right corner of the Content Library.

    How do I search for specific topics or recipes in the Content Library?

    • You can search for specific topics by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the Content Library.

    Can I share content from the Content Library?

    • Yes, if you are on a piece of content, it has a share button at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a share sheet to share via text, messaging apps, email, social, etc.

    Is there an option to download content?

    • Yes, if you are on a piece of content, it has a share button at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a share sheet where you can select to save the piece of content to your device.
  • How do I get to my Daily Log?

    • You can get to your Daily Log in two ways. First, you can get to your Daily Log via the bottom navigation - it is the middle button. Or if you want to go something specific on the Daily Log, you can click on that icon in your overview area of your home screen. For example, if you want to go to Steps, you can click on the steps card and it will take you to steps within your Daily Log.

    How do I log my daily activities and habits?

    • You can log your daily activities and habits by entering them or checking them off within the Daily Log. Remember if you are connected to your health kit, you have the ability to pull in Steps, Exercise and Hydration if you track those aspects in your health kit.

    Is there a way to edit or delete entries in my Daily Log?

    • Yes, you can edit all entries within your Daily Log. Supplements: you can check and uncheck to edit which supplements you've taken. Steps: you can click in the box to edit your steps. Mindfulness: you can check and uncheck whether you've completed mindfulness for the day. Hydration: you can click forward or backward on the cup icons to increase or decrease your hydration intake. Meal Log: you can click on the pencil icon next to your meal to edit and then swipe left to delete a food item.

    How does the app estimate my step count goal and exercise goal?

    • These goals are calculated based on your age, weight, and activity level from you pre-assessment.

    What if I forget to log an activity for a particular day?

    • You can go back to a certain day if you forgot to log an activity by clicking on that particular day on the calendar at the top of your Daily Log.
  • How did you estimate my daily calorie intake?

    • Your caloric intake is calculated based on your age, weight, diet, and activity level from you pre-assessment.

    How do I find information on my calorie consumption?

    • On the top right corner of the Meal Log, you will see your Daily Calories goal. You can click on the "i" to show you the caloric breakdown goal for Gut Positive, Gut Neutral, and Gut Negative foods for each day.

    How do I log my meals or individual food items?

    • You can log meals or individual food items within the Meal Log. You click the "+" next to a meal and then you have three different ways to enter your food: you can type a sentence of the meal you ate (i.e. I ate two scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast and turkey bacon), click on the camera icon and take a picture of your food, or click on the camera icon and scan the barcode of a packaged item.

    Is there a way to log meals from previous days?

    • You can go back to a certain day if you forgot to log a meal by clicking on that particular day on the calendar at the top of your Daily Log.

    Can I take a picture of my food?

    • Yes, you can take a picture of your food by clicking on the "+" next to a meal, then clicking the camera icon, then choosing Food Scan.

    I'm trying to scan my food plate but it just says "Hold tight..."

    • You might have a poor connection. Try connecting to Wi-Fi, if available, and try again. If the issue continues you may have to manually enter your meal once you have a better connection.

    Can I scan barcodes to add foods to my Meal Log?

    • Yes, you can scan barcodes by clicking on the "+" next to a meal, then clicking the camera icon, then choosing Barcode.

    Why is my barcode scan not pulling any results?

    • Make sure the barcode is flat and within focus and try again.

    How do I track portion sizes or specific ingredients?

    • When you enter a meal within your Meal Log, there will be a "-" and "+" next to each ingredient/food item for you to adjust for portion size.

    How do I change my food's unit of measure?

    • Click on the item to edit, and type the unit of measure for your food. For example, changing "Blueberries" to "1/4 cup of Blueberries".

    Can I see the categorization of Gut Positive, Neutral or Negative for each food I log?

    • Yes, each food item will have a green, yellow, or red color next to it, indicating which food category it belongs to.

    Can I see why a food is categorized as Gut Positive, Neutral or Negative?

    • Yes, if you swipe right on a food item and click the "i" it will tell you the reasoning for that food categorization.

    How do I interpret the daily nutrient percentages?

    • You have a goal for each category of Gut Positive, Neutral and Negative. Gut Positive foods should make up 60% of your diet, so as you log foods it will add up and show you what percentage out of 60% you have met for the day. Gut Neutral foods should make up 25% of your diet, so as you log foods it will add up and show you what percentage out of 25% you have met for the day. Gut Negative foods should make up 15% of your diet, so as you log foods it will add up and show you what percentage out of 15% you have met for the day.

    Is there a way to view/recap which foods contributed to the Gut Positive, Neutral and Negative categories for the day?

    • Yes, within the Meal Log you can click on each of the Gut Positive, Neutral and Negative boxes and it will give you a breakdown of which foods contributed to that category as well as the percentages of each food item.
